This project envisions a world where schools are not the only places where learning happens. All kinds of environments and situations in our everyday lives can provide learning opportunities. But how do we harness these learning opportunities? Ho do we make them available in formal educational settings like schools? This project investigates how to connect students’ out-of-classroom, everyday experiences with formal instruction. We explore wearable technologies, as well as other types of technologies (e.g., visualization, augmented reality, artificial intelligence) to understand how this connection can be designed.
